About Us
Hi, I’m Consuelo.
I’m a mom of two and the founder of Hugs & Tales.
I, along with my husband created Hugs & Tales because we wanted something simple: a meaningful way for families to bring Scripture, prayer, and the stories of Jesus into their everyday bedtime routine.
As we thought more about what we wanted Hugs & Tales to be, I remembered the Jesus Plush I had made for my nephew a few years ago. It wasn’t perfect, but he loved it, and he still loves and holds onto it today.
That’s when the idea of thoughtfully designed, scripture-based bedtime stories, paired with a comforting companion came to be.
What started with a little handmade Jesus plush for my nephew grew into something much bigger — Our goal is to build a brand around helping families create moments of faith, comfort, and connection before bed.

Our Hope Is Simple.
That children would grow up knowing the stories, words and love of Jesus — not just at church, but in the everyday moments that shape their hearts. Especially bedtime.
